FT Strategies celebrates its one year anniversary!

It’s hard to believe that this week we’re already celebrating our first birthday at FT Strategies!

Our boutique consulting firm was born out of the realisation that digital transformation was reaching a critical point for many industries, and businesses across all sectors needed to shift to more sustainable business models with a North Star of direct engagement with the consumer. With the Financial Times’s two decades of experience pioneering the reader revenue model, it was a natural step for the business to set up a way to share our expertise. In the past twelve months, we’ve seen quite a demand for our knowledge.

In 2020 we helped over 80 publishers across Europe future-proof their own businesses with programmes like our free Digital Immersion Weeks, a Rapid Response Sprint programme and our nine-month Subscriptions Lab, which we’ve done in partnership with Google. We also expanded our client roster beyond publishing, and have now worked with car brands, tech companies, museums and more. Our team brings expertise from entrepreneurship, journalism, data, digital transformation - and works closely with the FT’s frontline practitioners of data analysts, editors, marketers, customer researchers and commercial staff.

I am delighted to celebrate the FT Strategies team and all our clients who made this a successful first year - and here’s to many more.
